Chris Myers is the Lab Manager and Head Inventioneer for the CITRIS Invention Lab, a one of a kind Educational Maker Space that serves the UC Berkeley community. Chris is also a Lecturer at the Jacobs Institute for Design Innovation. He received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Product Design from The Art Center School of Design in Pasadena CA. Chris has designed a variety of products including concept automobiles, electric vehicles, medical equipment, exhibit design, wearable computers and toys. As a practicing product designer he has worked with many companies including Intel Research, (Xerox)Parc, Nokia Research. Chris has a passion for education and has developed and taught STEM classes for schools, museums and libraries. It is through these classes, along with his partner Anne Mayoral, Chris developed a series of robotic drawing toys which are now produced by their company ArtBot Toys. You can find Chris biking to and from his home in Berkeley CA with Anne, their daughter Remi and dog Bailey. Their favorite spots include Tilden Park, The Marina and many of the amazing restaurants nearby.
