Dale Griepenstroh is a proud teacher at Chula Vista High School the sister school of Huai’an Number 1 High School in Jiangsu Province. He currently teaches Advanced Placement world history and art history, but is credentialed in social science, art, English and business. He received his bachelor’s degree in communications and business at Indiana University and currently has a Masters of Art in Curriculum and Instruction. Mr. Griepenstroh has served in many capacities to boost student achievement and resiliency (a big problem in an urban and migrant setting). He has served as a presenter for the California Reading and Literacy Project, a trainer of graders for tests designed by the College Board and Educational Testing Service, a volunteer for the Evergreen Educational Foundation, and a panel member for the Technology Task Force in his district. Mr. Griepenstroh has had the distinction of being a National Board Certified Teacher for over 10 years making him eligible to teach in all 50 states in the USA. His personal interests include taking students to China and traveling to see art of historical significance all over the world.
