Jun Li is the Director of Innovation Department of the Engineering Training Center at Southwest Jiaotong University . He also serves as an experienced tutor for the Makerspace Program, and an advising consultant for “Conservation International Foundation”. He is an active advocate of the Maker Movement and has served as a co-founder for a Makerspace program in the Xi-Chuan Province’s Cheng-Du Community since 2013.

As a recognized leader of the maker movement, and a pioneer of educational Makerspace in West China – at the South West Jiaotong University- Mr.Li continues his work to actively develop Makerspace educational program for schools.

In 2014, cooperated with Intel, Mr. Li and his team founded the Intel-South West Jiaotong University’s Maker Center. These results have also mapped the MCD as one of the hot spots for maker communities development in China.
