Teacher Development Program
Inspired and capable educators and librarians bring invaluable positive impacts to rural society. Evergreen Education Foundation provides various opportunities for rural educators and librarians to build their skills, abilities and knowledge. We know the significance of combining theory and methodology inputs with the field practices and providing opportunities for effective learning through reflection and exchange of information and ideas. Each year we organize an international conference or a workshop for rural educators and librarians. We also hold additional study tours for rural teachers and librarians to learn about library best practices and the underlying ideas. Our rural teachers and librarians co-authored academic papers with our scholar/researcher volunteers and presented these papers in international conferences, or published them in international peer-review journals.
More often than not "The person who made a difference in my life" is a teacher. To help strengthen our teachers, make your donation to the Evergreen Education Teacher Development training fund.
